Why we exist
Decades of conflict, drought and economic collapse have left millions of Afghan children without a parent, a school place or a reliable meal. Girls in particular face closed classroom doors.
Dignity Trust was founded in Southampton by members of the Afghan diaspora who refused to look away. We fund and oversee education, nutrition, shelter and healthcare for orphans and vulnerable children, working through vetted local partners who know their communities and are trusted by them.
